Spring Singles Conference
Suggested for ages 35 and older
Note that the Spring Singles Conference age range is suggested for those 35 and older.
Come and enjoy fellowship and biblical teaching with other reformed singles Memorial Day Weekend in the beautiful spring weather in the mountains of Highland County Virginia! This conference will include speaking sessions by Christopher Wisdom, retired OPC minister and
US Army chaplain.
The overall theme of the singles conferences is Serving Christ as a Single Christian in His Church. Under this broad theme, our speaker, using Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, will explore answers to the question: What does it mean to “Walk Worthy of God’s Calling”?
In addition, there will be free time to enjoy hiking/recreational activities of your choice (feel free to bring your own recreational equipment and board games). Attendance will be limited to 40 registrations.

Speaker: Rev. Chris Wisdom

Speaker Biography
Our speaker, Rev. Chris Wisdom, is an OPC minister and a retired US Army chaplain.
Chris was happily married to the former Virginia Susan Ray of Arlington, Virginia, for 47 years until her death in 2022. They have three grown children, two married, and five grandchildren.
Christopher Harold Wisdom, a native of New Jersey, served as a church planter and pastor in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1980 to 1984 and then as a US Army Chaplain from 1984 to 2014.
He and his late wife moved to Salem, Virginia, in 2018. He now serves Garst Mill Presbyterian Church (OPC) as a presbytery-appointed elder augmenting the GMPC Session.
In December 2024,the Lord gave Chris a new wife, Margaret “Marge” Winters.
Registration
The registration fee includes lodging in a bunkhouse, all meals, and use of the main lodge facilities. Tent sites are also available if you would like to bring your own tent and sleep in it.
